About the World Food Photography Awards 2027
The World Food Photography Awards 2027 is inviting professional and amateur photographers from around the world to submit images that tell compelling stories about food.
The awards celebrate food in all its forms—from growing and harvesting to cooking, eating, cultural celebrations and survival. Photographers do not need to specialise in food photography, as the competition welcomes a wide range of photographic styles, including travel, landscape, portrait, still life and documentary photography.
With 26 categories, the awards provide an international platform for photographers to showcase their creativity, share meaningful stories and gain recognition from professionals across the food, photography and creative industries.

Photographers entering the competition can access several professional and creative opportunities.
Top prize of £5,000: The overall winner receives the competition's main cash prize.
